What technology is used
to demonstrate the data on the maps and
charts?
We are using XML files to store the data and
Adobe FLASH to present it (maps, charts,
etc.)
Print button or list of
indicators are not working properly.
Make sure you are using Internet Explorer
(IE), preferably the latest version, to
navigate through the website. Other browsers
might or might not support all the features
or show them in a correct way.
When I click on the "List
of Indicators" button, nothing happens.

On the list of
Indicators, what do the icons "D", "M/F",
"U/R" stand for?
The availability of the data:
- "D" - District level data
- "M/F" - Gender distribution
(Male/Female)
- "U/R" - Geographical distribution
(Urban/Rural)
How indicators are
organized in the "List of Indicators"?
All indicators are organized by sector, in
addition there are 3W and MDGs indicators.
How often do you update
information on the portal or add new
indicators?
Updated indicators or new once will be added
to the Iraq Information Portal monthly. If
you would like to be notified on the latest
updates, subscribe to our monthly newsletter
which will be send to you via email.
When I click on a
governorate of Iraq map on the main page, it
takes me to the general information about
this governorate, where do I select the
Indicator?
At the top of the page, next to "HOME"
button or click on the "List of Indicators"
button to the left.
How can I print a single
chart?
There is a "Print" icon next to each
chart/map. By clicking on it, a separate
chart will be loaded with proper source
information, data, etc. From there right
mouse click and choose "Print" from the
menu.
Can I copy the data from
the chart or save a dingle chart as PDF?
Yes, there is a "Print" icon next to each
chart/map. By clicking on it, a separate
chart will be loaded with proper source
information, data, etc. From there right
mouse click for additional features:
- "Print" - Will print the selected
chart/map.
- "Copy the data of this chart" - Will
copy the data to the clipboard to be
pasted in any word processor.
- "Save as JPEG Image" - Will save the
selected chart/map as jpeg image.
- "Save as PNG Image" - Will save the
selected chart/map in PNG format.
- "Save as PDF" - Will save the
selected chart/map in PDF format.
What are the additional
features I can access from right-click menu?
Depends on the selected chart you can:
- View chart in 2D/3D
- Rotate chart
- Slice chart
When I click on "Save as
JPEG Image" a top bar would appear to allow
pop-ups. How can I avoid it?
Make sure to add iauiraq.org to your trusted
websites.
Is there a color coding
for maps?
The darker color always show the worse
situation.
